Nope, that's just a Great Blue Heron, common to the Chesapeake Bay watershed, where we just spent the weekend.Still about 7 weeks to go...
Though Stephanie is starting to wonder if we might actually need a heron to deliver this baby - he is growing daily it seems! Mom-to-be is feeling good and very relaxed after her Babymoon getaway.
I saw Steph and Ken and Jack Lowell's house this weekend. He is certainly getting bigger. He racked up lots of goodies this weekend in New York at the baby shower held at Ada Korf's house and hosted by Gretchen Copeland and Michele Korf, two of the soon to be grand mother's. The lunch was provided by Butterfield's of New York with contributions from Gretchen who provided a wonderful 3 bean salad and macaroni salad. The highlight of the meal was the wonderful devil's food cake provided by Butterfield's.

Jack is due to arrive in a little over a month. I can hardly wait.
